Beach Cleanup
As part of the Environmental Awareness initiatives and DPS Monarch MYM Program, the school organized a Beach Cleanup for the students from Secondary School. The drive was organized in collaboration with Doha Environmental Actions Project, Qatar (DEAP, Qatar). DEAP is run by a Mexican – American industrial Engineer turned full-time volunteer and environmental activist, Jose Saucedo, a resident of Qatar. This initiative was taken to instill a sense of social responsibility towards the community to Students and fight against plastic pollution in Qatar. A total of 86 students participated in the initiative and they were accompanied by teachers and Support staff who also actively contributed in the initiative to clean the environment.

Mentoring Young Mind Session At DPS Monarch International School
DPS Monarch International School has initiated a comprehensive Mentoring young mind Program aimed at guiding and empowering high school students to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
This is a forward-thinking initiative that not only prepares students for higher education and future careers but also fosters holistic development. This initiative focuses on career counseling, internship opportunities, community service involvement, aligning with global standards for holistic student development and the importance of profile building.
The session was taken by School Counsellor Ms. Reema Raheja and School Vice Principal Ms. Madhu Uppal and provided insights into emerging global career trends. Informed about real-world exposure, the school collaborating with local businesses, NGOs, and corporate partners like DEAP Qatar and Bridge-U to facilitate internships,community services , various add on courses and career guidance . These opportunities help students gain practical experience, understand workplace dynamics, and develop essential soft and technical skills relevant to their career interests. Recognizing the value of civic engagement, the program emphasizes community service as a key component. Students are encouraged to participate in social impact projects, which nurture empathy, leadership, and a sense of responsibility.
In today’s competitive academic environment, profile building is crucial for university admissions. The importance of the same was addressed by School Vice Principal Ms. Madhu Uppal who educated students on how to build a strong personal and academic profile through a blend of academics, extracurriculars, various courses ,internships, and community service.
By Guiding and educating students about, hands-on experience, and structured guidance on profile building, the school ensured that students are well-equipped to navigate their futures with confidence and clarity.
Stream Selection
DPS Monarch International School conducted an online Parent Orientation for Grade 10, guiding parents on stream options and subject combinations for Grade 11.
The session featured insights from Principal Ms. Meenal Bakshi, Vice Principal Ms. Madhu Uppal, Academic Coordinator Ms. Indira, and school Counsellor Ms. Reema, highlighting eligibility criteria, subject choices, and career pathways. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A.
