DPS Monarch International Shines Globally at World Scholar’s Cup 2024 

DPS Monarch International School made its mark at the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) 2024, excelling at the Regional Round-Doha, Global Round- Baku, and Tournament of Champions (TOC) held at Yale University, USA. The competition, known for fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and cultural exchange, saw participation from over 50,000 students spanning 60+ countries. 

Regional Round, Doha: The event at King’s College witnessed 60 DPS Monarch students engaging in collaborative writing, team debates, and the Scholar’s Challenge. Their stellar performance secured them an impressive medal haul, paving the way to the Global Round. 

Global Round, Baku: At the Azerbaijan National Drama Theatre, DPS Monarch’s delegation bagged 37 gold and 55 silver medals. Four teams qualified for the TOC. 

Tournament of Champions, Yale University: Representing Qatar on a prestigious platform, DPS Monarch students earned 14 gold and 21 silver medals. The nine-member delegation included Aarav Karthick, Bhavya Sharma, Ratandeep Prabhakar, Aeindri Ghosh, Evelyn Daniel, Aditi Satheesh, Juwain Rafhath, Nehan Aseel, and Shivaansh Roy. Scholars also engaged in cultural exchanges, debates, and explorations in New York City, cementing their global legacy. 

Principal Meenal Bakshi lauded the students’ dedication, emphasizing the competition’s role in shaping future global leaders. The achievements at WSC 2024 underscore DPS Monarch’s commitment to nurturing excellence and fostering international camaraderie.
