Saachi Dhadwal (Class of 2024)

For me, DPS Monarch is more than just a school; it is a place where I call home. Not only did I strike a friendship among my peers and juniors, but I also enjoyed a respectful and frank relationship with all my teachers, which ended up being the most exceptional and heart-warming memory for me.

The respect and recognition I have received in my 4-year tenure at this school constantly overwhelms me. As I graduate from this school, which has instilled in me values such as the power of knowledge, impact of kindness, essence of gratitude, and many more, I will carry with me the countless memories that I have created while interacting with my juniors, classmates, teachers, and supporting staff members.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and respect towards our beloved Principal and all other teachers for playing such a vital role in this memorable journey of your GOLDEN BATCH students. You truly showed us what it means to impart education with a difference. We promise to always keep in touch with the school. We wish our junior Monarchians all the best as they carry on the legacy of this school for a long time to come!

Fathima Nehrin (Class of 2024)

We all strive to reach the top, but once we reach, we can’t help but look back. This journey has been the same for me too. From longing for vacations and holidays to now, hoping for a time travel to relive those moments, it is beyond words to describe the adventure Monarch has given me. The four years that I have had here will always be an inseparable part of my life. The lessons I have gained here will have a lasting impact on me personally and academically. The four walled classrooms have paved an entire pathway for us. The corridors filled with laughter and murmurs, the “keep quiet’s” and “attention’s” will always be cherished. It is with bitterness that we end this journey but forever grateful for the experiences and valuable moments that we will reminisce. It is the collective effort of all teachers, staff, school administration and my peers which has made these moments meaningful. It is an honor for us to be the first graduating class of DPS Monarch and we look forward to being a part of the school and its growth as the alumni. The excitement of the new world that awaits us all is immense and I hope that we get to reap the sweet fruits of this journey.

Athulya Subash (Class of 2024)

There is a universal truth we all have to face, whether we want to or not, everything eventually ends. And yes our school days have come to an end. We as kids have always dreamt of a day where we all would wear graduation gowns and enjoy the graduation ceremony and our farewell. But as we approach the end of a beautiful phase of our life we tend to dislike the fact of saying a goodbye to our dearest friends and teachers because there lies a plethora of emotions beneath our hearts.

We joined DPS Monarch in the year 2020. It was this year that corona conquered the whole world and schools were shifted online. Despite all this, “Monarchians” were united through online classes. From regular classes to competitions, celebrations to exams everything was conducted online. And then we entered grade 10. Due to the pandemic there was a big change in the CBSE board exams. And our batch had to write 2 boards. Yet, Monarchians succeeded with flying colours through constant guidance and support of our teachers.

Grade 11 and 12 were filled with hard work, a wide range of emotions and over the years the bond between friends and teachers multiplied many a times. We are immensely proud to be the first batch of Monarch. Down the road, it will be an extremely overwhelming moment to come back to school for a day and reminisce all the happy memories that we created.

Roshan Benjamin Sajit (Class of 2024)

My time in DPS Monarch International School was short and memorable. I came here in 10th standard from Kerala, and I was not sure how the environment would be different here.  I was afraid of how it would be being from someone who was not originally from Qatar. Yet both the students and the teachers made me feel right at home here. I never felt like an outsider or someone who has any cultural gap here.

The teachers were like our mentors and made us bloom to our fullest academic potential. They kept pushing us to explore extra-curricular activities so we might grow beyond the scope of just academics. Every day was fun and eventful, from the rush of daily lessons and physical education to the constant buzz of extra curriculars. DPS Monarch was not just a school. It was our second home where friendships were forged, and our minds were enlightened.

Our journey in Monarch might have come to an end. But the memories here will always join us and keep us connected to this school. I am deeply thankful to this school for guiding me and showing me the path that I need to take in this life. Thank you DPS Monarch International School.
