Young Voices for a Better World: Grade 4’s UNSDG Week
Our enthusiastic Grade 4 Monarchians took part in UNSDG Week with great energy. They engaged in hands-on activities focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Students created colorful posters to raise awareness about Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3). They also became Trash Detectives to learn about Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11). Class discussions and a handprint pledge helped them explore Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16). This pledge showed their commitment to building a better world.
The week ended with reflective worksheets. Students shared their favorite moments and key learnings. This experience expanded their understanding of global issues. It also encouraged them to act as responsible global citizens.
