Clubs Come Alive at DPS-Monarch

DPS-Monarch International School organized a vibrant Club Orientation Program on April 10, 2025, for students of Grades 5 to 8 at the Multi-Purpose Hall.
The event aimed to introduce students to the diverse range of clubs offered by the school, promoting holistic development beyond the classroom. The program began with a warm welcome by Activity Coordinator Ms. Surabhi Suri, who emphasized the role of co-curricular activities in shaping well-rounded individuals.
Teachers Ms. Soundarya and Ms. Nisha gave a concise overview of the various clubs available: Little Chef, Sound & Beat (Instrumental and Vocal), Western Dance, Indian Dance, Web & Graphic Designing, Science & Math Club, Dramatics Club, Reading Club, Ecology, Environment, and Gardening, Creative Hands, MUN Club, Shutterbugs – Photography, RJ – Radio Jockey, Health and Wellness, Heritage, WSC (World Scholar’s Cup), and Qatar Debate. Students had the opportunity to interact with club members, understand the club activities, and sign up based on their interests. The event concluded with a motivational speech by Ms. Suri, encouraging students to explore new avenues and grow through active participation. The orientation successfully set the stage for a year filled with creativity, collaboration, and co-curricular excellence.
