
On 25th March 2025, a Discipline Orientation session was held for secondary staff as part of the INSET plan, conducted by Discipline Head, Mr. Prashant between 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
The session began with Philosophy of Discipline aligning with the school’s vision: Learning excellence that is child-centric, value-based, and technology-driven. It ensured a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment, to promote self-discipline, responsibility, and integrity in students.


Under Teachers’ Role in Discipline Management the need of teachers to be a role models of professionalism and discipline was the key point so that teachers set a clear behaviour expectations for students by enforcing school policies with fairness fostering positive classroom culture. Awareness about Reading out the General school rules and policy form to the students would help in discipline strategy so that students are aware of Arrival & Dispersal Duties and other related rules. Key Discipline Concerns & Teacher Responsibilities like Bringing of Cell Phones,Casual Behaviors in Classrooms and Corridors,Unusual Relationships Between Boys & Girls, Student Uniform Violations were equally addressed to help students and teachers understand the problems in teaching learning environment.
Discipline Hierarchy about the incident occurs were clearly elucidated with 5 Step process: Incident Occurs, Referral to Coordinator and HRT, Homeroom Teacher (HRT) Involvement, Discipline Committee Review and Authority decision. For smooth and clear functioning Roles about preparation and formation of Incident report, the formats of Meeting Record with Parent including warning letter was explained in a comprehensive way. The session highlighted Expectations from Teachers in terms of being proactive in managing student discipline, communicate clearly with students and parents, collaborate with colleagues and leadership for a disciplined environment, maintain fairness and consistency in handling discipline issues.
The discussion focused on the role of the House Warden in maintaining discipline, followed by a Q&A session. The session ensured a collaborative-work- together principle to create a positive and structured school environment while reinforcing the importance of discipline in achieving academic success.
