
As a part of the INSET Plan for Secondary Staff, Vice Principal Ms. Madhu Uppal conducted an comprehensive session: Guidelines and Responsibilities for secondary staff on 25th March 2025 in School Multipurpose Hall between 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
The session covered many essential points, including an understanding of the Secondary Hierarchy and Chain of Communication. A plan of action was delegated to the Secondary Discipline Committee, with an emphasis on ensuring student safety and creating a conducive environment for effective learning.
Emphasizing and Encouraging leadership qualities, teachers were assigned for Student Empowerment & Leadership Program 2025-26 that included events like Model United Nations, PISA Exam, Qatar Debate TEDx TIMMS The World Scholars Cup.


Key points on Code of conduct were discussed that included reporting on time, marking attendance, notifying co ordinator’s in case of delays if any, dress code for students, arrival and dispersal duties, Class Room Management, Appointing class monitors and Incharges & Class Pass issuance, Locker & Seating Maintain locker keys and manage seating arrangements, Ensure cleanliness and oversee iPad cupboards, Reporting important issues to the Academic Coordinator, Supervision Duties:break and dispersal ,Student Well-being & Absenteeism Monitor and support student well-being House Warden & Discipline Incharge.
Additionally, the session highlighted the responsibilities of subject teachers, the role of the Head of the Department. Teachers were also briefed on integrating CBSE guidelines, the use of technology in teaching, assessment and evaluation procedures, exam guidelines, and key reminders and expectations. The session concluded with important aspect of school support: The role of the Counselor in providing both counseling and academic support for all round development of the students.
In conclusion, the session conducted by Vice Principal Ms. Madhu Uppal offered valuable insights into the various responsibilities and guidelines that contribute to the smooth functioning of the school. It helped foster a clear understanding of the key points, motivating teachers with enthusiasm and promoting a strong sense of team spirit. Teachers were encouraged to collaborate and remain dedicated to these shared responsibilities, ultimately contributing to the development of students and the building a culture of excellence in education.
