Grade 1 Food Drive: Celebrating Healthy Habits through Tasty Bites!
As part of the EVS lesson Healthy Habits, our Grade 1 Monarchians embarked on a flavorful journey toward better nutrition. We organized a Food Drive to help children experience the value of balanced eating firsthand.
Each day, students brought food from different groups—fruits, vegetables, proteins, and carbohydrates—and learned how each one supports their health. They explored how vitamins and minerals, especially in fruits and vegetables, help them grow stronger and stay energized.
The classrooms buzzed with excitement as students proudly shared and talked about their healthy food choices. This hands-on experience helped them understand nutrition while encouraging mindful eating.
With bright smiles and colorful lunchboxes, our young Monarchians embraced healthy habits—one bite at a time!
