Our Grade 1 Monarchians had an exciting month filled with creativity, curiosity, and hands-on discovery!
In English, students made a vibrant c/k spelling rule poster to help remember tricky spellings in a fun, visual way.
In Math, they explored place value using clay to build and understand ones and tens. The “Addition Clouds” activity made learning even more exciting, as they crafted cotton clouds and counted the raindrops beneath each to solve addition sums with a smile!
In Life Skills, they planted mustard and fenugreek seeds, observing their growth daily. This helped them learn patience, responsibility, and the joy of nurturing life.
It was truly a month of fun, learning, and growth—both in knowledge and nature!
