On Tuesday, August 26, 2024, three teachers of our school from the department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Ms. Tabasum, Ms. Habiba and Ms. Arig, had the privilege of attending an enriching & thought-provoking educational seminar titled “Understanding Qatari Culture: Your Key to Educational Influence,” led by the esteemed Ms. Latifa Al-Kuwari at the Qatar National Convention Center. From 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The seminar delved into the intricacies of Qatari customs, traditions, and values, highlighting the shared heritage with other Arab nations. Ms. Al-Kuwari also addressed pressing issues within the Qatari school community, focusing on effective strategies to address common behaviors and promote positive interactions among students, teachers, and the broader community.
The discussion covered essential topics such as religious conduct, cultural norms, and social interactions. The session concluded with a lively exchange of ideas and experiences among attendees, fostering a sense of collaboration and shared learning. This engaging experience not only broadened our understanding of Qatari culture but also equipped us with valuable insights to navigate diverse social situations.
