Striking the Right Chord: Stephen Devassy Music Academy Orientation at DPS-Monarch
The Multi-Purpose Hall at DPS-Monarch International School resonated with melody and inspiration on April 10, 2025, during the Music Academy Orientation, organized by the Music Department. The session introduced students to the vision and opportunities offered by the Stephen Devassy Music Academy, a dedicated space for aspiring young musicians to nurture their talent.
The event began with a soulful live performance by Mr. Rajib, Mr. Vivek, and Ms. Sneha, captivating the audience and setting a harmonious tone. Mr. Rajib then shared insights into the academy’s structure, instrumental and vocal training programs, and opportunities for participating in school performances and interschool competitions.
The orientation emphasized the importance of practice, discipline, and creativity in a musician’s journey. Student interest was high, with many expressing their enthusiasm to join and grow through the academy’s offerings.
