The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is a prestigious organization that recognizes and honors the highest-achieving students throughout the globe. Membership in NSHSS is by invitation only, extended to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, leadership, community service and extracurricular activities. It is one of the most famous honor societies in the US.
Honor societies are organizations which distinguish and honor students with strong profiles. These societies provide extra credit while getting into college, offer networking, more access to leadership events, scholarships, grants, extra resources etc.
Co-founded by the grandnephew of Alfred Nobel, NSHSS is inspired by the mission of the Nobel Prize to support academic achievement and world betterment. NSHSS pursues this mission by connecting members with scholarships, college fairs, internships, career and leadership opportunities, partner discounts, and more.
