This season’s Qatar Debate (25-26) Ramadan workshop was nothing short of extraordinary. From Media debates to Navigating the ethical dilemmas of AI utilisation, the students were able to develop ideas about the most important aspects and topics of debate.
In the first session, Media Debates: Understanding Cancel Culture held on 11th March 2025, the students were able to understand both the downsides and upsides of Cancel Culture. The following second session: Actor Analysis: States and International Actors held on 12th March 2025, the students were given a meaningful overview of the integral international organizations and states of the world. The third session: Navigating the Ethical Dilemmas in AI Utilization held on 18th March 2025 was about navigating the ethical dilemmas of AI utilization where the students of grade 7 and Grade 8 put forth their views in an interactive way and gained valuable insights on the same.
The session was concluded with Debate Awareness: A Guide to Debate Dynamics on 19th March 2025 emphasizing the core components and strategies of debates.
The students and teachers of Qatar Debate team witnessed this year’s Qatar Debate Ramadan workshop deeply impactful that ignited minds, tackling cancel culture, global powers, AI ethics, and debate mastery, forging sharper thinkers ready to conquer complex challenges.
