World environment day is celebrated every year on 5 th June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment-friendly activities. World Environment Day is the perfect opportunity to make people aware of the issues we are facing and how one can contribute to saving them. Thus, it is quite important in its own way.
Keeping this aim in view, students of Kindergarten 1 of DPS Monarch international school were asked to do germination using cotton balls. All the students participated enthusiastically with teacher guidance. A lot of enthusiasm was seen in the kids who were excited to see the sampling. In consonance with CBSE under the NEP program of Bagless School Policy, activities were done by integrating subjects like Math, English, Art and EVS students did colouirng, counting and writing the number of trees in the drawing book.
