The morning assembly on September 10, 2025, focused on two pillars of student achievement—discipline and exam preparedness. DPS Monarch learners were reminded that success begins with responsibility, consistency, and the right mindset.
Led by the Vice Principal of the Secondary Section, Ms. Madhu Uppal, the session featured practical strategies for effective studying, memory recall, time management, and mental well-being.

To address the growing concern in today’s digital world like managing distractions, especially from social media, importance of time management and fixed study hours was explained which is crucial for effective exam preparation. The session explored NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) concepts including information processing through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic channels, examining how beliefs, values, attitudes, and physiology influence behavior, decisions, and results.
Students actively participated in creative activities like story creation to enhance retention and explored Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats to approach exam challenges from multiple perspectives. The session was a powerful and interactive start to the day, reinforcing that preparation and discipline pave the way to excellence.
