18th December is always a day looked forward to in the country we live in. Being the most imperative day, KG2 celebrated Qatar National Day on 16th December 2021, before the start of the winter break. We were all set to delight our little ones with splendid decorations all over the place. A stall and a photo booth were also arranged for our students to help them comprehend the customs and traditions of the country. It displayed Qatari dresses, different spices prominently used, dates and date palms, pearls symbolizing the traditional occupation and many more. Teachers and children were dressed up in maroon and white symbolizing the Qatar National Flag. The little ones were also engaged in sand painting the oryx, the national animal of Qatar. Plantation drive was also organized for our students where they planted saplings of different varieties. The vibe of the day was relished by all to the utmost. We wish all a Happy Qatar National Day.
